OUR STORY

We met almost 15 years ago and quickly discovered our shared love for music and living room dance parties. After saying our own I Do's to the sound of classical strings, we realized how much power and beauty lies in the simplicity of well played acoustic music. Although our musical paths have varied, as Derek has recorded, performed and toured internationally, and Meghann has been on the stage and in the studio, we have always come back to the joy of creating and playing music together.  Being able to share that connection with others is what inspired us to start Elfland - a husband and wife duo. Over the years, we have had the honor of performing at weddings, corporate events, wine bars and a variety of other celebrations. With an ever-expanding, diverse song list, it’s our pleasure to provide curated music for your special event, so you and your guests can relax and enjoy the moment.
